THE VERY BIG THINGS THAT GOES UNNOTICED..

I hear and see people saying and the quotes that tells us to value the little things in life.

The little things like seeing the sunset with your favourite people, cooking your favourite food and your family tells you that it has come out delicious , eye contact for ten seconds with your loved one and feeling understood by them , smell of the rain, etc.. Surely all this is very special and the things that one has to enjoy and value in every moment of their life!

But at times despite people having said and noticed all these little things ,they fail to notice the very big things which others do for them… Your partner sacrificing their dreams to be with you, A person who is there as a constant support even when the whole world stands against you, your bestfriend trying to knock some sense into you whenever you go down the wrong path, the family which gave you everything you can possibly want and need , and many more!!

All these things when you think about it are more than what you wished for! People many a times take these things for granted and think it’ll always be with them even if they dont acknowledge it.

But a time will come when it’s too late for you to realise , and by then every one of these big things which you failed to notice and appreciate will slowly fade away and disappear from your life..

I just want to say that it is important to notice and appreciate the little things in life ,but at the same time do not ever let the huge sacrifices and the big things that others do for you to go unnoticed!!

A Rainy day..✨

Rain, how can such a short four letter word invoke so many kind of emotions within a person!✨

Now I don’t know how many people love the sound of rain..,but i for one cannot get enough of it❤️!! Just listening to it gives you a very different sense of peace and serenity which you’ll not experience anywhere..not even when you are doing your favourite job or  even when you are surrounded by your loved ones and having the best time of your life! Sure you may feel happy, excited and even loved..but there is something about rain and the sound it that makes me feel understood and at peace which I have never felt anywhere else.

For me the rain and the feeling it invokes within me is something really personal and something which is beyond anything that words can even describe.

Sure many people love getting drenched in rain and dancing their hearts out,but for me,when it comes to RAIN.. just sitting inside my house with a cup of coffee and enjoying the view of it through my window , the smell of the wet sand after a rainy day, and nice cozy blanket with a book to read is all i need to make my day perfect!

I just want to say to all the people out there who feel like their daily routines are getting messed up or the plans they made is getting postponed because of rain and are stressing out about it , just take moment to feel and enjoy the gift that the nature has given us. Treasure the moment of peace it gives, for you might miss it later when it’s gone.

How does sports impact national unity

Sports is one of the main medium to establish nation’s identity and helps to form cordial relationship between countries.

It also paves way and gives a platform to voice out the problems and helps the depressed and backward nation’s to be heard.

Sports arena are one of the main areas where many cold wars and tension between two countries are unofficially solved.

One best example to prove that sports plays an important role in national unity, peace and integration can be of the US-CHINA RELATIONS.

Sports diplomacy is nowadays becoming more popular as many countries which are considered backward and undeserving are voicing out and creating an identity for themselves to becom a global competitor.

Each country has their own kind of sports in which they expel than others. For instance, China is well known for badminton,Canada for ice hockey, Australia for cricket and so on…

Various nations compete in international areana like the Olympics and the world championships to prove their talents and also use it an opportunity to voice out the concerns which are looming over their countries .

One of the best example for the above said is the 1968 Olympics where the two African-American athletes raise their black gloved fists in showcasing the global problem of black poverty.

There are many such instances where such platforms are used to raise global concerns. So without an ounce of doubt sports not only helps national unity and integration but also helps in solving many political and social problems which are faced worldwide🏅

“We are all bad in someone’s story”

We people are not perfect,no one can say that they are perfect.. everyone lack something or the other and likewise everyone will be bad or the villian in someone’s story

It’s the perception that matters, everyone will see a situation in their own desired way.

We can’t expect all the people we meet in life to like us. We ourselves can’t deny the fact that we don’t like many people who we came across in our lives!

At the same time it’s a sheer waste of time to try and satisfy people’s expectations…each one will have different expectations, and in satisfying each one we will forget to live our lives and our dreams.

This above quote is the best solution for this..there is only one person in life you have satisfy..that is none other yourself.

Be the best version of you, compete with yourself to improve..forget about the world and the expectations they have on you. Always remember that

So live your life according to your rules and in a way which you desire✨ for you can never ever please the world, and realise that people always want more and will never be content with what they have

3. Falconer series

This series is one of the most underrated one according to me!!It requires more love and hype like some other series

Set in 1844, Edinburgh our female protagonist Aliena kameron, aka Kam lives a double life..

On one hand she is the only daughter of the Marquess of Douglas, disciplined girl with beauty and brains.

On the other hand, she is a faery-killer,that is a falconer who can see the faieries.Aliena made it her life’s aim to kill the faery race who were responsible for her mother’s death.

Along with Kiaran, who is a fairie himself and who also trains her to battle, she sets out to destroy and bring the fairie population to dust.

A YA fantansy novel with the perfect mix of adventure, romance, thriller, and with a strong female lead..highly recommend it if you have not yet picked it up!!!

“When nothing is sure, everything is possible”

In this world where everything evolves and changes continuesly, nothing remains permanent…

Each single day should be considered as a second chance for what we were not able to achieve the day before.

Especially in today’s scenario we don’t even know if we will survive the each passing day.All around the world people have become more terrified thinking about the deaths which is occurring due to this pandemic.

Who would have thought a couple of years ago that we won’t be able to touch each other, that we would totally loose the physical interaction with the outside world, that we would be scared to even pay a visit to our loved ones!!!

Many of us never gave importance to these, did we??…

Many people never really bothered about the festivals(including me).Now we are in such a situation where we are longing to celebrate,to catch up our friends and family.

This covid 19 outbreak has taught us many things. One of the main lesson is that Nothing is sure and permanent in this world.Anything is possible in this journey of life.

When you yourself are not sure about what is going on with your surroundings and when nothing is for sure or permanent in your life… remember that you have many choices to choose from,to decide for yourself which way to go!!

That is when you know that everything is possible.Even when you face failure, you still know that the situation can also change into success in no time💫

So guys, please don’t get depressed or give up when things don’t go your way… It’s okay to sometimes feel lost and not sure of your life for only if you are lost, you’ll explore the world to find the way which suits you the bestt!!❤️✨

3. Book review:

Title:10 things I hate about pinky
Author: Sandhya Menon.

Suitable for people who love: Rom-com, contemporary, young-adult,fake-dating,frenemies

I have heard soo much about Sandhya Menon on booktube. Many people recommended me to try her books if you want to experience some cute summer romance.

I’m soo glad that I finally picked one up and am soo in love with her writing!! This book is basically a companion novel of “When Dimple met Rishi“(which also came as a Netflix adaptation) and “there’s something about sweety”.

In this book our main characters are pinky kumar and Samir jha who are poles apart in nature!!

Samir: He’s the type of person who never breaks a rule, wants his life to be in full control and so lives his life by schedule and routine. He takes care of his mother and also wishes to become a lawyer.

Pinky: She on the other hand is like a rebel butterfly.Cheerful, impulsive and most importantly born to break rules.she is also a social justice activist and lives her life according to her desires.

Pinky visits her parents lake house to spend her Summer vacation, and by fates play Samir’s internship gets cancelled at the same time.

This is where things gets interesting..during a verbal fight with her parents, she cooks up a lie that she has this so called “perfect boyfriend”.

I don’t think we could be more opposite if we were custom-designed to be.

Pinky knows Samir through a mutual friend decides that he would be the perfect “fake boyfriend” according to her mother who also happens to be a reputed lawyer. She enters into a deal with Samir: he would pretend to be her boyfriend for the summer and in turn gets an internship opportunity.

But listen, people can change all the time. Maybe not in big, profound ways, but in little, incremental ways that end up changing essential parts of them anyway. It’s like a Rubik’s Cube – you start with one line at a time, and then everything begins to fit together.”

As time goes by,Being together and staring to understand each other sparks fly as they both fall for each other.Apart from these all the side characters were also well potrayed and Sandhya Menon has done justice to the story as a whole.

On the whole,if you are looking for a fluffy, fun-filled romance with some cute bickering here and there..this is the book for you!!

Also do check out some of the other Sandhya Menon’s writings👇

“Life is a journey,not a destination”

My blog’s title is literally inspired by this single quote!!I didn’t hear people saying this often, but I wish they did…

Many people are seeing their life as a destination which they desire it to be,and hence are failing to realise that life is actually a journey rather than a destination.

This journey of life is filled with desires, success, failures, hope, grief, pain, happiness, etc…in short it is an adventure , which you are not prepared for.

And so the adventure begins

In today’s world people are so busy in their daily lives, struggling to achieve their fixed goals, aim or what you called as the desired destination. Its a shame that we are not aware of what we are losing in this struggle.

People are failing to appreciate what life has given them, many people have forgotten how to celebrate and enjoy life.We have to start finding happiness in small things which we do in our daily routine, only then we will be fortunate enough to see what life has to show us.

Enjoy life to the fullest, for we do not know how long the journey is or what will be our final destination 🧭❤️

Remember that the journey can be rough and sloppy at times, but always take the right direction and you will definitely reach your destination

2. Book Review

Title: Tokyo ever after
Author: Emiko Jean

Suitable for readers who love: contemporary romance, young adult, and princess diaries.

This became one of the most anticipated book for me ever since I started hearing people raving about this in booktube.

Finally I read it and I’m soooo glad that I’m not disappointed!!this was soo good and so much better than I expected it to be.

The story is similar to princess diaries which has an asian american as the main lead and this itself was enough for me to pick it up.

The story starts of with our protagonist Izzumi who lives in America with her mom.Her life is a small circle which includes her mom and the asian girl gang(the AGG),Izzumi’s best and only friends.

All of this is until she finds out that her father is the crown Prince of Japan!!and so she is a REAL PRINCESS.She is whisked away to Japan to stay with her father and learn about the royal customs and rules.

This is where the real story starts…fast-paced,royal politics, jealous cousins,a forbidden love, difficulties of being a royalty..ufff this book totally took me by surprise!!

“Please do not strike me
from your memory, from the
perfect shape of your
heart. Please let us carry on
as we were, against the world”

Akio is definitely my new fav book boyfriend!!He is such a kind and caring person and I just love relationship arc of Akio and Izzumi.

The AGG– How in the world can I not mention them!! According to me they are the pillars of this story and the type of best friends everyone wish to have.

“I search for my bag
and my eyes catch on a bright pink sign. Welcome home
from the hospital! The rash cleared up, yay! Three girls are
smiling and wave frantically—Noora, Hansani, and Glory”

This story displays about the royal politics, romance, friendship, mother-daughter relationship and much more in a perfect mix.

“The Imperial Household Law
stipulates that only men whose fathers are emperors may
inherit the throne. However, some scholars may argue that
such law violates the principle that men and women be
treated equally as set forth in Article 14 of the constitution”

There is also the imperial family tree which helps a lot if you are confused about the relationship between the characters,

Overall this is definitely a satisfied summer read for me. Hope you guys love it as much as I did.
